Ah I see....I just use cable here, although I have noticed DirectTV 
quality is outstanding, unfortunatly I get nailed by the cable company
if I dont purchase both internet/tv from them, they call it a
"customer discount" for the two...sigh...Right now i'm at analog too,
since their digital requires a box and that renders the bttv card's
tunner useless, but the redrat2 would fix that!

One thing I have to research is I'd like to buy a laptop for a portable
recording/viewing station....Be able to have a tvout on it to play
videos on a tv, and be able to record tv, possibly with the ADVC100
or a pcmcia bbtv card....I used to have a IBM T22 thinkpad and 
the svideo out through a radio shack wireless pod worked good, but
I had to give the laptop back... 8(
