On 4.7 snapshot (28 april, I think) The ueagle II modem works but runs really slowly with the following error every few seconds. usb_insert_transfer: xfer=0xd0a79900 not busy 0x4f4e5155 after a while I get ueagle0: timeout waiting for operationnal state > ueagle0: could not boot modem> I tried adding the ueagle debug option to the kernel with no more info given. My 4.7 cd came today which I was waiting for (also other self set deadlines) to see if it was the same on that, I presume so. It works fine on 4.3, which I have reverted to, I could try more versions to help narrow down on changes, if necessary. However I also have another connection with the same setup, which has just been auto upgraded to adsl 2 by the isp and which is now not working (apparently there were some issues and it should be up soon but I was told that an adsl 1 modem is unlikely to work with an adsl 2 line anyway). The ueagle II is also a little quirky about line noise (need good cables and ups). Does anyone have any new info on adsl2 modems that work well with openbsd and aren't too expensive and don't run their own os or webserver (maybe pci or usb). I was going to wait for the next generation as 20Mb with download limit means little to me, but I guess my hands been forced. Thanks, KeV
