A port of this has already been posted a couple of times but, as someone said, it needs more work. The GUI tool fails for me on amd64 so that needs to be fixed. There were also some discussion if it should replace apc-upsd or not. It never got any further than that. Anyone with commit access, is there anything else that needs to be fixed in this port for it to be included?
