True. I'm currently evaluating OpenBSD and I am trying to understand the
mindset of OpenBSD users by reading the newsgroups. And this thread *is*
strange.

I find that if  you ignore the personality issues, and concentrate on
what you want or need, it is much better.  But this is true of many
open source projects and even in work places.

As an openbsd user, I would like more openbsd users, because I think
it is suitable for a number of tasks.  But remember, openbsd is
written by the developers, for the developers.  Which is not to say
they won't take into account your requests, but code/money/resources
is frequently more welcomed! 8-)

So, something like my pipe dream of seeing zfs in openbsd, will remain
that, unless I win the lottery or something. 8-)
