OpenBSD is, like FreeBSD, much advanced over BSD4.4, so the BSD4.4 book
is not completely useful for hacking on OpenBSD or FreeBSD.

But the FreeBSD book describes how *FreeBSD* has diverged from BSD4.4,
not how *OpenBSD* has diverged. If you're interested in having the book
that is most accurate for *some* OS, then get the FreeBSD book - it is
the most accurate, but it is accurate about FreeBSD.

If you're interested in learning about OpenBSD, start with the BSD4.4
book and then look at the OpenBSD code to learn how it has changed,
because there isn't a book to describe what it's like right now.

Got it. good explanation.
Now I can understand what the other people told to me at last.

I'll probably buy FreeBSD's because I run it at work and
learning different OSs can help me go further.

I appreciate you all helping me.
