I second this experience. -current as of today had the same problems
with "iwi0: fatal error" and going back to the listed revisions fixed it
for me. Increasing timeout with
http://anoncvs.erisiandiscord.de/e8010/if_iwi.c.diff
did not help.
I will also say that I am having the same issue with iwi0. But then, my
bce0 is also on the blink (separate issue, I think)
My -current is from 24 January 2006...
