If you're concerned about temperature readings and fan speeds, you may want to use sensorsd(8) and sensorsd.conf(5) instead. It can serve as a trap to warn you, e.g. in case of a fan failure. Cheers, Rogier -- If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there.
