Fed up with TWC, I finally made the call to Verizion, and I'm left with a
technical question. They did their job trying to sell me as many of their
services as they could, and I eventually directed the conversation to the
internet-only service I wanted.

They tried to sell me Quantum FIOS at the slowest speed available for that
product (100/100 I think it was), but the price was still too high, so I
asked about $50/month FIOS services I knew some people had and the agent
said that they sold a 50/50 FIOS, but she wanted to caution me that this
was not Quantum FIOS.

Are Quantum FIOS megabits really different from regular FIOS megabits? To
the best of my calculations a 50/50 internet connection is more than
sufficient for my needs. I just don't understand the products enough to
know if Quantum service really is different, or just a marketing term for a
higher speed cap.
