--- Comment #22 from Roland Scheidegger <srol...@vmware.com> --- I think if you had fog active by accident that would contribute to the feeling there's probably no real use case for glBitmap with active fog hence probably noone really interested in making that fast (I think the past issues I've seen with that also had it active by mistake though it's hard to tell - it is obviously easy to forget something like that, you could also have a fragment shader active on top of glBitmap which unlike fog just sounds crazy).
