But what makes you think that the capitalists are not burning additional tons
of fossil fuels with the intention to STAY ON high carbon generation and
transportation? They are making huge profits during this so-called "transition"
and will use those profits to reinforce their class interests. Maybe some
dictator will mandate fossil fuels be burned. And maybe if we burn up too much,
we will never make it to the point where we get off fossil fuels. None of these
things are under the control of the working class.
