When I said "workaround", this was actually a euphemism for them

So if that is the reason, the best option would be to ask the recipient
in question to open a ticket. I might even be able to dig out our
reference number if that would be helpful.
That would be fantastic indeed! I am trying to get in touch with the
recipient, and an existing reference number could be helpful.
