all major vendors will have tie ups with MS .I dont know how it really
profits them.probably h/w vendor saves resources on writing the driver which
MS would do for them (not sure!)

Heres a tip ; you can buy any dell laptops from IMC near shipyard without
the OS.But if you buy online from dell ;you will get it with only the os.

many vendors sell with FreeDos and some even bundle linux (acer ).
