I'm sure Apple is not going to change the keyboard after all this time. I do
recall that when I got snow leopard, one of the reasons was that they had
introduced num pad commander, and it was also at that time that they stopped
the full keyboard, i.e. dropped the num pad and the right control key as well
as home and end keys, page up and down etc. Having used full keyboards in
Windows for ages, including getting use to a full complement of controls and
alts on both sides of the keyboard and a num pad, it was a no brainer to opt
for the full keyboard when I got my Mac Mini. And I still have a Windows laptop
with the full keyboard. Life will certainly go on. <smile>
