Mike, though I agree with you on not being locked down, I totally! totally! disagree with you on taking a risk. Mike, I need this phone for work, so can't be without a cell smart phone as I do a fair amount of local travel from client to client.

Second of all, with my medical condition which we won't under any conditions discuss on list, it could mean the difference in myself or others getting hurt as if I get in a jam, I can call my doctor before things get really really bad and out of control. So, yeah, though I love jail breaking, don't get me wrong, 'm not sure how much I am of a risk factor type person. LOL!

Chris;
In my opinion this is what makes jailbreaking so fun, you can break something just by installing an application, that you didn't expect to break anything. For example, when you are working with android, you can install an application that may cause your device to be useless. Therefore, in my opinion it's a lot nicer to be able to take a risk, then to be locked down by Apple's requirements in there App Store. Michael PS, great job being able to fix it, that's why we always suggest making backups before you perform the jailbreak. That way, you can restore to your last known good configuration, just something to keep in the back of your mind.

I don't know if something on my end just went screw, but I tried installing some of the Siri addons which you can find in Cidia under the sections tab. Man, my phone was working fine until I installed some of them. After I did, my phone, even when not using Siri froze almost every 5 minutes literally speaking, I kid you not! I finally had to restore the thing and unjailbreak it. I still want to jailbreak, but I can't be with a phone that freezes every few seconds as I do use my device for more than just apps. After all, it is a... gasp... phone... LOL!
