Hi, that happened to one of the 3 iPhones I jailbroke. The reason is
because not all Cydia apps and tweaks are iOS 6 compatible yet. You have
to be very careful in reading the app description to see which ones.
Once I found that all I had to do was RTFM a little, things went fine.
So, you can jailbreak, just don't go adding everything under the sun
just because you can. I think that SMS GV Extension is one such app
which is not yet iOS 6 ready and can cause issues.
