I do not find it hard to use on Windows. But you may want to contact them and ask them to make their site more accessible. sometimes a request will go a long way.

I'll admit, their web site was a mess, not to mention a major! pain if ever their be one! Then, once I bought the voice, they never e-mailed me the password to my user account. They said I was logged in, yet I got an unauthorized page when I tried to go to the link they provided to direct me to my downloads. When I clicked the link to reset my password, nothing at all happened. Finally, I wound up having to manually go to the link they gave me in the initial e-mail to reset the password. Once I reset it to something I knew, I got no confirmation on the page that it was successful. I just had to trust it worked. Finally, once I started downloading the zip file of my product, after much headache, I'm only getting maybe 50K a second, which for a 100 something odd meg file, is utterly crap! I should be pulling at least! 3 to 400K, if not more.
God help me!, if the interface to input my license isn't accessible.
We'll find out.

Thank you kindly,

I listened to a few. Personally I find them a bit choppy and not
as smooth as the voices you can get with the mac by default.
Still, synthesized speech is one of the most subjective things in
the blindness community, so to each their own, I say.

On a practical note, I had trouble getting the sound files to
play. I had to interact with the link for the sample, then
vo-right to the actual link (not the image), route the mouse with
vo-cmd-f5, and click with vo-shift-space. Sometimes I could just
right click and select download file, but that didn't work much of
    the time.

Hi guys. Well, it's been two years now with my Mac and I've loved
every moment of it, including the frustrating ones. Lol. But
that's not what my subject is about. Last night, as I was
catching up on almost 100 forum posts on SamNet, I read one of
Mike Arrigo's forum posts about his Android Chat that he does
weekly and he mentioned about these voices for the Android called
Cereproc. Well, for those of you that wish there were more
alternatives besides Nuance, Cepstral, and Acapela, these same
Cereproc voices for the Android are also available for the Mac. I
went to their website to see how good these voices sound and, in
my opinion, they beat both Nuance and Acapela. They are really
good! As a matter of fact, if I can't, ahem, find a torrent for
them, I'm thinking of buying a few of them. The price is pretty
affordable, about $42 US. I don't know how much that converts to
in Canadian dollars, but I really like them and want to get them.
So thanks Mike for introducing me to these voices. To see how
well these voices sound, go to http://www.cereproc.com/en/osxvoices
