> Hi Kawal,

You asked: Why can't we just put an mp3 file in the ring tone section of
Itunes? all the other smart phones accept mp3 files as ring tones so I don't
understand why the I phone can't?

TK: Because the iPhone is not any other Smartphone. All the other Smartphones
don't have VO either and Apple also has a habit of using higher quality media
filetypes. The iPhone is simply different than the rest just like the MacOS is
different than Windows.
