Wow, Randi, let me know if I can help, once you've calmed down.  The  
first thing to do is go through Finder and confirm that your stuff  
isn't still on your hard drive, just not being recognized by Itunes.   
If you want, Skype me or something and we'll work this through,  
because I don't think a full scale panic meltdown is in order...
