Hi Alex, If you wished to partition the disk then highlight the full drive name not just the volume name You can just format a drive using eraise tab but a full partition may well be a better option if it’s currently set to ntfs. As tim said mac osx extended journaled is the format to use if your installing OSX .
However if you don’t need to change the partition table then jus use eraise tab and select the correct format.and it shold still be ok although you will have to also select options and make it a GUID partition to enable installing of the OSX system.
