Hmmm, based on mark's clear description already, O'm not sure what everyone is expecting him to add? He's using the standard layout, not classic, with five lines of preview, and VO+J to jump into the full body of the message where necessary. I think that's what a number of us are doing. Works well. The only other thing I'd add is that interacting with the message table in a folder where messages are grouped by conversation, such as the folder one might set up for this list, helps because you can arrow down and hear only the subjects of the threads, rather than having to sit through a long list of senders before you know what the subject is.
