Hi Chris,

You just mentioned about apple's exposure regarding educational bulk
sales.

I have just met with someone from the powers that be over here, who
baught one license of Jaws for a school, and i spoke to him about how
voice over comes packaged with a mac. Do you know if there is some
sort of repository of old macs, a surplus store or simply a program
advocated by apple for the distribution of Apple computers for these
types of organizations?

I'm asking because where i currently live, i have been working for 2
years nowon an educational/business model, helping disfavored people
to access higher level professions, such as 3D and motion graphics. So
far the model is working, and we have various individuals with various
disabilities being productive on the visual coms industry. Fatefully,
i lost my eyesight last year, and my scoff of my current situation is
helping them understand about their potential even more than before.

But lately, since i can't put my hands on the production itself, i
have started finding new courses for the disabled, namely for blind
individuals, and specifically screen readers.

Have you got any addresses i can look into for these kind of non-for
profit actions?

This could immensely help the blind community here, which is, to say
the least, extremely outcasted and shunned. Secondly, it would be a
purpose for what has happened to me.

To start with, these lists have saved me from total abandon of my
activities, and i would be satisfied if i could just help some others
here who don't have the same access as we do in Europe or other
developed countries.

Last but not least, having voice over already packed in leopard or sl
is a major advantage if we consider older mac systems, and it
basically nullifies the problems of licenses.

Thanks, and best
