Hi,

Apple does sell extended warranty packages for its laptops and other
products. These are pretty expensive but are really excellent service.

I would bet that Apple would work out a bulk sale deal with your
blindness organization if they would enter negotiations.
Historically, Apple has done very well by school systems and other
large government distributions. It would be a publicity coup for them
if they could start selling to people with disabilities through the
various European government/insurance programs.

As I like to say, "I paid the same for VO as I would have for JAWS but
they tossed in a really kick ass laptop for an extra $100!"

Happy Macking,
cdh
