That's what I finally was able to do. but it was really a struggle.
Focus wouldn't readily go to the password field to download Mavrix,
somehow I wasn't seeing the window or the erase, and after all that I
managed to transpose some letters and numbers in my office password so
that I couldn't log back in after I had done the initial setup. That
last was pretty stupid and fortunately I did figure out what I'd done
but not before I'd looked up some nasty registry hacks for passwords
that I was about to try.
Anyway, I got it but none of it quite went as advertised.
