My projects tend to get complicated and go through several revisions. The primary reason for going to Scrivener was it's extensive writing project management capabilities. Like my old friends MaxThink and TiddlyWiki, it supports thinking about complicated issues, i.e. it allows for and supports evolution of structure in the process of writing. Having developed an interest in LaTeX being able to export to it is a big bonus.
