I just ran across a perfect example today. I had switch every 
"Lastpara" paragraph back to "Standard" and then add three stars in 
the "Scenechange" environment. I did that in LyX, but wanted to make 
sure I didn't miss anything. LyX has, as far as I know, no "search for 
environment" feature, so I loaded the LyX file, searched for 
"Lastpara", found none, and knew that I had completed my job.
