Yes, the path exists and there is also a pdf file named like my document and
containg my compiled lyx stuff, but the file has no -preview part. Just
Documentname.pdf
This is OK, when you call the PDF-view the first time.
For the moment i use an opened explorer window and after processing the lyx
file i'm opening it by clicking to the pdf in the explorer. (of course i'm also
using the dvi viewer)
This is nothing you can really work with. So what about when you open it with a console using the
command
"C:\Proagramme\LyX1.5.1\bin\PDFViewWin.exe" "C:\Temp\xxx\xxx\Name.pdf"
(assure that the paths are correct)
Can you open the PDF this way?
When nothing helps, try to reinstall LyX using the official installer and report if it then works.
THis installer uses another method to view/update view PDFs.
As i said in a mail before under xp sp2 this stuff works correctly.
Good to read but strange that it doesn't work under Vista. I got an approval that the installer also
works fine under Vista, so I'm running out of ideas.
