THis file is what appears when you do Help>LaTeX COnfiguration. It
describes the classes and packages LyX knows about, where they can be
found, and whether they exist on your system.

The fact that there is no entry for spie.cls is exactly what I have in
mind. I need a small text, similar to what is already there, which
would go after section 4.24 (SIAMLTeX). The Found: entry should read
@chk_spie@ and will be replaced by Edit>Reconfigure by yes or no.

VTAN: entry should probably read N/A, since this class is not on CTAN.
Look at section 4.25 (or any other journal) for inspiration).
