No. It is too slow here, too. Maybe the fact that my machine is not the fastest (1.3 GHz Duron) plays also a role. But please let us stop these secondary discussions and get to do some real work. Once the internal encoding mess is sorted out one could talk about speed and necessary optimizations, but before it does not make sense, because you don't know how many conversions will be there in the end.
