Generating output from LyX-unicode

Hi.
I want to know what is used to generate output from LyX-unicode. Right
now, I use Omega and Lambda, and I've seen Aleph, that can do
multilingual typesetting with Omega; Are they used in Lyx-unicode to
generate output? Use of them should be straightforward, and the result
is visible and editable even in Notepad and Gedit. But, it seems that
current output is different; It's character codes only. How can I get
output?
