Hello,
MAJOR ISSUE: The layout styles (title, author, section, subsection,
etc.) are no longer shown in the pull-down menu on the left of the LyX
window; it is blank now.
Maybe this is related to http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1901 ?
I tried this:

but it did not help. I still cannot select a layout style because there are
no layout styles available. A real showstopper. BTW: LyX 1.3.6 works without
a problem on my machine (Win XP, MinGW, gcc 3.4.4).
