Not at all, and I am a bit surprised that you understood it like that. I just wanted to make you aware of the old arguments and was too lazy to repeat them. IIRC Huang Ying wanted to change to pango too, so the problem is not if the change happens, but when and who does it. I personally don't care much for the gtk port (but I do configure --with-frontend="qt xforms gtk" to make sure it compiles). I certainly don't want to stop anybody from discussing or working on it, but it's useless to repeat old arguments if everybody agrees already, isn't it? Georg
