It's more likely that it can't handle what he needs. at least your
description of how things work put me  right off it (that is, I couldn't
follow it within 10 seconds or so of reading it). What're all these
obscure edit and send commands etc. ?

We just don't need administration overheads. All I want is properly
distributed repos, it's that simple :)
