I think you're correct ... I just am not sure how. I assume it's quite obvious, but I did look briefly when I was doing this and didn't see how. The "reduced output" doesn't make a *whole* lot of sense unless we elide deleted text (strikethrough without the dvipost doesn't work well either). It is not hard to install. We don't ship preview-latex (and in fact we don't test for that either, though it woould certainly be nice to do so). Ideally we could find somebody to make RPMs. regards, john
