What you won't understand that we just cannot help you. Well I'm
speaking from my part. What should I do that could help your, if not
backing out some of the "new" features you introduced. The problem
is that we don't know that code and we don't have the time to get
it known. We know the LyX source so we could work on that, but that
wouldn't get us anywhere, we have to work on the boost stuff to get
out of the pit. You know we all have counted time and you force us
to work on stuff we aren't really interested in working at. And that
is the main problem IMO. As you and for that also me and others said
it is a freetime project and we do on it what we're interested at.

I know you are interested "a lot" in all this boost and "modern"
compiler stuff, I for myself are not, but you want to force us to
"be" interested in just that as otherwise we just cannot do other
things and this attitude is wrong IMO. Let's do the transition in
small steps. Let's back out the boost::signal and boost::regexp stuff
go back to the one we used earlier, put that stuff up a branch where
we can look further at it, remove the rtti and exeption options from
compile/link phase and we're again to the same routine as in 1.2.x,
wouldn't we?

Greets,

       Jug
