Could there be some "property" information tab? I say this because sometimes the console (stderr) is not the best place to put this information for easier debugging. This does not need to apply to all properties but this is one that we deem as important.
We already give the platform in About LyX and somewhere the runtime version of LyX. The draw strategy could be added there.
