Easy. 1. launch lyx & new file & insert table 2. table settings, click on borders tab & select formal style 3. the right blank space is missing as in the image sent in previous mail. If you don't see it then rendering maybe be different here (different Qt or Qt style used). If you point me to line which paints this I can have a look. Pavel
