In any case the solutions look bad enough not to care for such a corner cases (mainly I'm not sure about all possible side effects of deactivating '-'). What does not look corner case to me is that at this moment even default manuals can't be compiled under 'normal' debian install (requiring french/spanish/ngerman babels). Pavel
