I am somewhat confused why GUI should affect output of UserGuide wrt booktabs,
the more that I can't grep it in {it,fr}/UserGuide.lyx.

In any case the solutions look bad enough not to care for such a corner cases
(mainly I'm not sure about all possible side effects of deactivating '-').

What does not look corner case to me is that at this moment even default
manuals can't be compiled under 'normal' debian install
(requiring french/spanish/ngerman babels).
