We compile the document as best as possible (and thus multiple runs)
even if there is an error. The reason for this is that we still produce
a PDF and the user can access it with the "Show Output Anyway" button.
So I believe this is expected behavior.

It might be a valid enhancement request to ask LyX to fail as soon as
possible. I would be in favor of this. I wonder what others think.
