The problem is to have the equivalent of Encodings::transformChar (and of the arabic_table[172] array) for Urdu. If my plans go well, we will be able to get rid of all this stuff and let Qt handle it all. But of course, this will require lots of testing from all the RtL users we can find.

Note that this is not a requirement for the str-metrics branch, and that I will probably work on it in a separate branch once str-metrics has landed.
