as you know, both my proposal and Enrico's reply come from an academic environment. However, perhaps the words most commonly used in different domains (e.g., computer science, physics, engineering, history, literature, etc.) might also vary when coming to text writing, and I'm definitely the last person with an extensive knowledge of the Italian language, with my 6-years old daughter nearly taking over me on the usage of certain constructs (luckily, there's another parent :-) ).
So, let's keep the "profilo" for now. T.
