I am not objecting.
But should it go to the "scripts" dir? Seem already crowded (63 files,
counted ".py", + ".pyc" + ".pyo")
It pretty much has to go there, given how the mechanism for calling it
works.
Note that the pyc and pyo files are generated by python, not by us.
