I have to admit that I had to look-up sophism because as a poor mathematician I do not use consciously such subtlties (you are free to believe me or not). But after reading the wikipedia page (and having this "ah I remember now" instant), I begin to wonder whether accusing the other side of sophism at each argument is not some kind of meta-sophism, or even maybe the Mother Of All Sophisms. To put things differently: we already have too much code adding fancy side-effects that somebody found clever at the time (I did that myself). I think that most of them are wrong because they rely of the use pattern of _one_ guy. I myself think that the right moment to indicate your intention is at the time when you create the new paragraph. It is at this point that we should make things intuitive and quick. JMarc
