I spent a lot time getting the babel code bug free. Maybe the code is not the best looking, but it is error free (no bug left that I found and also no open bugzilla entry). It can surely be simplified, but please not for LyX 1.6. I won't have the time to test now again all the different language handling cases when the code would be changed.
I would like when you do your changes as soon as LyX 1.7 trunk is opened. regards Uwe
