I know that reverting is not the fine art, but I think in this case it
is the safest as we are too soon before the release.
Well, if you cared about explaining what is wrong I am 100% sure that
this would have been a one line fix.
Nevertheless I fully agree with you and José, that the babel handling
should be changed, but let us postpone this until LyX 1.6.0 is out.
My opinion: this code is a mess and is very fragile because it _is_ a
mess; if we don't fix it now, it will turn out to be a source of a lot
of unpredictable bugs.
