Ok. I suspect (though I'm not sure) that the layouts themselves might
still need to be marked up -- I'm not sure how obvious it is which
bits of LaTeX in a layout file need translating and which don't.
Since I don't speak Python, I'll (cheerfully) leave this for someone
else.
There already is a layout parser written in python, and it's supposed to
add all that kind of stuff to the translation files. It's the
layouts_l10n routine in lyx_pot.py.
