First I note that the first alpha should not wait for this to be finished or the goals more or less set. I agree with you if the target is the first beta. Before replying to your other message I have an `ad hoc` question, I have tested some of the embed features today. In the document settings menu there is a tab to choose embedded files. It allows to choose any files you want to. Would not make more sense only show for selection those files that are really used by the package?
