shouldn't be such kind of release signed as lyx 1.6.0svn? once users start to make bug reports it will be chaotic to which version they refer when alpha1 will point to different revisions. secondly, alpha1 was not officially released yet and such kind of announcement shouldn't come before the official one, imho. pavel
