I can't test against trunk -- I don't have the 1.6 alpha, and theorems-ams.inc in 1.5.4 is different from the one against which Russ is diffing. So I tested only the first patch (against 1.5.4). I only found one problem, illustrated by the attached DVI. If the cases occur in the middle of ordinary text (rather than nested in something like a proof environment), they violate the left margin of the document. I also found a bug <grrr> in the AMS layouts unrelated to the Case environment -- a bug I thought we had squashed after the previous revision -- that I'll document in a separate thread.
