This has been fixed since March.
So why does configure.py fail to work, then?
It only fails when MiKTeX is directly installed with LyX. Then MiKTeX's system variable settings are
not visible for the programs started by the LyX installer. First when the LyX installer is closed,
the system variables can be updated (I don't know the Windows internals why this is the case). But
anyway, I fixed this in my installer by running the configure.py script from within the installer,
and When LyX is first started configure.py is run again. So for the case MiKTeX's system variables
weren't visible for the first configure run, they will be for the second run. This works fine now
and nobody reported me yet that the .lst bug occurs for them using my installer.
