But not being particularly reasonable myself, i tried it. Oops. I'll
wait for at least .1. It doesn't get along with X (instant blinkies)
on my chipset (AT24). And xconfig won't let you change the irq for
soundblaster cards, and it's set to the oddball value someone had on a
card forever ago.
Yep, i've got a $10 soundblaster, and $10 speakers :) (Hey, i put $8
radio shack speakers on the kids' machine. It's *tough* to find
speakers without amplifiers).
And my screwball card was somehting like $30, and was only meant asa
temporary . . .
